It's a very short book yet they still manage to describe some of the same events more than once as if they don't recall having already done so. Meanwhile, I'm reading along thinking "didn't they already describe that?" More importantly, many "facts" are wrong in this "true crime story". And there are out & out lies designed to "dirty up" the victim. I knew her. I know this case. I'm unimpressed by this reporting.Product details

She Sleeps with Butterflies CrimeScribes True Crime Stories eBook Matt Coughlin Laurie Mason Schroeder Reviews
what I have read so far is very interesting try to stay up at reading it but have to give into sleep
This book was a fast read. Kept my interest throughout. Would recommend this book for any crime story enthusiast!!! Great reading, gripping.
This is the second book I have read from these writers and cannot wait for their third book. These stories are from real life crimes that made headlines in the papers and news outlets. The two writers are extremely good at their craft and I promise anyone who reads this (double) novel will come back wanting more!!!! Wish I could have given it more stars!
I read their first book in one sitting and the same was true here. "Butterflies" was another page turner. Great pacing and suspense. I plan to read the second story tonight (two stories in this book.)
It's dry. It's factual. It's very boring. It's like reading a cold newspaper report. No imagination. I would not recommend it.
Interesting "behind the scenes" story written by two crime reporters about the Rachel Siani murder (previously featured on an episode of the television show "Forensic Files"). The bonus story "Killer in the Storm" is another tragic tale of selfishness and desperation leading to the murder of practically an entire family.
Chilling reading for true crime aficionados looking for a quick and interesting set of stories written by two longtime crime reporters.
The two stories in this book read like the news reports from which they originate. They contain the sad facts and legal aftereffects of each crime. There is no psychological profile or attempt to ferret out the murderers' reasons for their crimes, and minimal backstory of the lives of those involved.
That said, the stories are well written. There is attention to detail without devolvement into minutiae. These stories are worth the read.
